Gabrielle Union shares heartfelt 4-word message for Dwyane Wade on his 43rd birthday with special throwback snap

NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade turned 43 on Friday, and his wife, Gabrielle Union, made sure to shower him with love and give him his flowers. The wife of the Miami Heat legend shared a series of posts on her Instagram Stories in celebration of his milestone birthday.

In her first post, Union reposted a birthday tribute by @wade_legacy that featured a quote from the three-time NBA champion about his life after basketball. Wade had previously expressed his desire to spend more time with his family post-retirement.

"I see myself retiring from the NBA to spend time with my wife and kids. Also retiring as one of the greatest to play the game," the quote in the picture read.

Union captioned the post with a proud announcement of Wade’s 43rd birthday:

Union continued celebrating Wade on her Story with additional posts. In one, she shared a picture of the two at the Oscars, highlighting a perfect couple moment. She included a special message referencing Wade’s Oscar nomination at the 2024 Academy Awards.

"42 brought an Oscar nomination. I cant wait to see what 43 brings!!" Union wrote.

Another post showed the couple dancing together. Union captioned it with a wholesome message for the former NBA superstar.

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have been together since 2010 and tied the knot on Aug. 30, 2014.

Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union was deeply moved by the suffering dominating recent headlines, and took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message for those affected by the wildfires.

"Thinking of everyone suffering, grieving, exhausted, frustrated, feeling hopeless and helpless... I pray for healing, peace and protection, strength and guidance. And most of all love. We all we got," Union wrote.
