The Los Angeles Clippers traded Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz along with a second-round draft pick to acquire Kris Dunn. As a parting message, the official X account of the Clippers shared a collage of Westbrook's great moments at the franchise, thanking the nine-time All-Star for his contributions to the team during his stay.
However, the Clippers fans were not big fans of the thank you message. Their reaction to the post was filled with troll comments. The fans expressed their opinions in the comments, with some of them questioning Russell Westbrook's credibility to deserve a thank-you post as the Clippers were unable to make it past the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

NBA Insider shares Russell Westbrook's real destination
The Clippers did trade Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz to acquire a player more fitting with their future plans for the franchise. However, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski believes that Mr. Triple Double is headed to the Denver Nuggets to join reigining league MVP Nikola Jokic.
Wojnarowski made a post on X, formerly known as "Twitter," informing the fans that Westbrook is expected to head to the Denver Camp as a free agent after he clears waivers with the Utah Jazz. The Jazz are expected to buyout the nine-time All-Star out of his contract, leaving him as an unrestricted free agent who is free to sign with anyone.
Moreover, the Nuggets' head coach, Michael Malone, also provided a foreshadowing of Westbrook's arrival. He shared with ESPN that the franchise is looking for a point guard to play behind Jamal Murray. Russell Westbrook is a great option to fulfill that role, as he had a similar role at the Clippers and excelled at it.
