Gilbert Arenas and former Milwaukee Bucks player Brandon Jennings got into a war of words regarding Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum. In an episode of "Gil's Arena," Jennings called out Tatum for being the softest Celtics star in franchise history.
"Is [Jayson Tatum] the softest Boston Celtics superstar ever," Jennings asked. "I think I'll be more afraid of Jaylen Brown than Jayson Tatum."
Gilbert Arenas' co-hosts, like former LA Lakers player Nick Young, agreed Tatum's game is too quiet. Young said JT lacks tenacity and intensity on the court and should try to be more aggressive if he wishes to live up to his superstardom.
However, Arenas didn't like what his co-hosts had to say about Tatum and defended the Celtics star. Gil pulled up his averages and statistics to prove that JT can be a killer on the court too.

"Whoever saying he's soft... that's a soft a** 28 points per game he's averaging. Go on out there and get your head bust!"
Jayson Tatum proves Gilbert Arenas right with double-double against OKC
The Boston Celtics took on the OKC Thunder on Sunday. It was a battle between two of the best teams in the NBA. However, the Thunder had the Celtics' number as they came up with a 105-92 victory.
Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas defended Tatum in his podcast and believes that he is one of the most dominant players in Celtics history. On Sunday, Tatum put up another double-double performance, which backed Arenas' sentiments of him.
JT put up 26 points,10 rebounds and two steals in an attempt to knock down the Thunder. Tatum was Boston's best scorer and also the top rebounder. But, it wasn't enough to put a stop to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's wrath on the hardwood.
SGA had an all-around performance against the Celtics, adding 33 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks. The Celtics' Jaylen Brown assisted Jayson Tatum on offense but it still wasn't enough to beat the Thunder. Brown added 21 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.
It's back to the drawing board for the Boston Celtics as they prepare to face Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. It'll be an interesting matchup to see, especially since the Nuggets have found their rhythm as of late.
