"Goat in making" - Gilbert Arenas' ex Laura Govan hails daughter Hamiley Arenas' 30-pt outing for Notre Dame

On Sunday, Gilbert Arenas' ex-girlfriend Laura Govan showered praise on daughter Hamiley Arenas after a 30-point game for Notre Dame Sherman Oaks High School in Los Angeles, California. Govan posted a series of videos on Instagram that showed Hamiley's elite playing skills at the offensive and defensive end.

"Another 30 piece huh!? 9th grade Huh!? A goat in the making," Govan captioned the post. "@hamileyarenas0 Leadership, sportsmanship, attitude, humility and confidence you Got it ALL Mija keep grinding … Only The Beginning… @hamileyarenas0 #ProudMom 🏀"

Laura Govan and Gilbert Arenas have four children. The couple started dating in 2002 before breaking up in 2014. Arenas' eldest son, Alijah, has had a very successful high school career and is looking forward to playing college basketball after his reclassification.

The eldest child is their daughter, Izela Samaya Arenas. She plays for the Louisville Cardinals. Their youngest son is Aloni Arenas.

This wasn't the first time that Laura Govan showed love and praised her daughter. Earlier this month, Govan shared a post on Instagram that showed Hamiley's highlights from high school basketball with Notre Dame.

Highlighting her daughter averaging 25.0 points per game, Govan wrote that Hamiley has been dedicated to the game even outside the basketball court.

"My Baby Is Averaging 25 points as a 9th grader for Varsity High School … Proud Mama You Work So Hard Training Watching Film all hours of the night. No Body Needs To See What You Do in the Dark, keep letting your Light Shine On The Court Mama … Proud Mama #1 Fan … @hamileyarenas0," Govan wrote.

Hamiley was born in December 2009 when Gilbert Arenas was playing for the Washington Wizards.

She started playing for the Notre Dame Sherman Oaks earlier this year.
