Angel Reese became a national champion after helping her team beat the Iowa Hawkeyes on Sunday. The 6-foot-3 forward recorded a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double, helping the LSU Tigers win their first championship with a 102-85 win over the Hawkeyes.
However, it wasn't Reese's amazing performance that put her at the center of attention. It was her behavior that many basketball fans found unacceptable. The LSU forward taunted Caitlin Clark and mocked her for not winning the championship.
It appears that the 20-year-old star also flipped off fans before the game. A photo of her performing the rude gesture has gone viral on social media, further damaging her reputation.
The image above was posted by an Iowa Hawkeyes fan, who claims that Angel Reese flipped off her 14-year-old daughter and the rest of the fans who were close to her.
"Angel Reese flipping off my 14-year-old daughter (who at one point looked up to her) and the rest of the Hawkeye fans," the Facebook user posted.

The photo has garnered thousands of likes and more than 13,000 shares in less than 24 hours.
Basketball fans did not like Reese's behavior and described her as classless.
Ashley Henry Frantz, the Hawkeyes fan who posted the image, has limited comments on the post. Furthermore, it appears that the user's profile has been deactivated for a brief period of time.
The Facebook user claimed that her daughter did not even have a Hawkeyes poster and that Reese flipped her off for no reason.
It's hard to verify the authenticity of the picture. Considering that it's very easy to manipulate images, there is a chance that the photo was edited.
