Steph Curry and Co. dropped their second matchup against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday, 125-119.
Despite the loss, the biggest story of the night came late in the third quarter, when Curry injured his shoulder as he tried to reach in on a Jalen Smith drive. He checked out and did not return to the game.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr stated in a postgame interview that Curry would undergo an MRI today, and also added that Curry was in good spirits when the two met briefly after the game.
Curry scored 38 points in the game through three quarters, with Jordan Poole adding 20 and Donte DiVincenzo, 15. Moses Moody and JaMychal Green added 13 and 15 off the bench. Tyrese Haliburton scored 29, Myles Turner tallied 21 points, and rookie Bennedict Mathurin added 24 points off the bench.

The Warriors are once again under .500 this season, and have now lost two games in a row. Coming off an unprecedented title run last season, the Dubs have seldom gained momentum this season, with their longest winning streak consisting of three wins.
FS1's Skip Bayless, on "Skip and Shannon: Undisputed," sounded off his opinion on the Warriors following their loss in Indiana:
"The biggest picture point, I've never heard of anything like this before, points allowed at home versus on the road, it's 13 worse on the road.
"That's not the Warriors, they used to love to go into places and just shoot you right out of the gym.
"So far they are tied for 15th in defensive efficiency with the Los Angeles Lakers. ... They're an aging basketball team, I don't know that they're hungry to defend their title. I just don't know."
Steph Curry's MVP-like efforts enough only for a sub .500 record
Steph Curry is on a historic run this season, with an average of 30.0 points on par with his unanimous MVP season. His effective field-goal percentage of 62.5% is the second-highest of his career, with only his 2015-16 MVP season ahead of it.
Partially because of a weak bench and partially because of inconsistency from starters, the Warriors have only managed a 14-15 record through two months of the season.
The Warriors have also suffered in Andrew Wiggins' absence, who is out with an adductor issue and gives the Dubs about 19 points per game, which is the most anyone averages on the Dubs besides Curry.
While their defense is clearly poor, it is noteworthy that the Lions' share of the offensive responsibiilty lands on Steph Curry, with Klay Thompson and Poole showing up every so often.
With the trade deadline closer than ever and the Warriors' two-timeline approach clearly in shambles, the Dubs should move to consolidate their bench as soon as possible and hope Steph Curry's injury isn't too severe to keep their title hopes alive.
