The Golden State Warriors will host the Minnesota Timberwolves at Chase Center, and there are concerns surrounding Andrew Wiggins and Moses Moody’s health going into Sunday's matchup. Forward Wiggins (ankle) and guard Moody (knee) are both on the injury report and listed as questionable for the game.

The Warriors (13-9) are in the midst of a dismal run, managing just one win from their last seven games. After setting the pace in the Western Conference over the first month of the season, Golden State has dropped to fifth in the standings. Coach Steve Kerr will hope to have two of his key players back in the lineup as soon as possible as he looks to get the Warriors back on track.

What happened to Andrew Wiggins?

Andrew Wiggins has been a staple on Kerr's roster, with the talented forward starting all 20 games he has featured in this season. Unfortunately for the Bay Area team, Wiggins managed just 19 minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday before leaving the game in the third quarter due to an ankle injury.

The injury has been bothering Andrew Wiggins for some time now. Following the Warriors win over the Houston Rockets on Thursday, Wiggins mentioned during the postgame press conference that he first injured the ankle against the OKC Thunder on Nov. 27 and had been playing through the pain.

What happened to Moses Moody?

Per a recent post on X from NBA reporter Anthony Slater, Moses Moody is experiencing left knee soreness. The 22-year-old shooting guard came off the bench in Friday's game but played just seven minutes before being sidelined. Moody did not feature in the second half of the game, and the severity of his injury is still unclear.

Moses Moody is a key member of the Warriors rotation and has featured in all 22 games, starting four.

When will Andrew Wiggins and Moses Moody return?

A return date has not been set for either player, but considering the nature of the injuries, both players should be back in the lineup in the near future.

Wiggins' injury has been lingering for some time now, and Kerr may be wise to give him some additional rest before the team begins a three-game road trip from Dec. 11 to 21. The return of veterans Draymond Green and Steph Curry this week should allow Kerr some flexibility with his lineup as well.

Warriors prepare for tricky three-game road trip

It has been a difficult few weeks for a Warriors team that has recorded just one win since Nov. 23. Golden State has struggled to close out games, and its offense has been extremely inconsistent. Steve Kerr will be desperate for a home win against the Timberwolves on Sunday before heading on the road to face a difficult run of games that includes the Houston Rockets, Memphis Grizzlies and Timberwolves.
