A short trip across the Hoosiers state awaits Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors as they continue their road trip to face the Indiana Pacers on Friday. The Warriors have been struggling with a series of underwhelming performances, dropping them to ninth in the standings. They are 3-2 in the new year and enter this game knowing they need more wins to keep their lofty ambitions alive.

For a team used to deep playoff runs, the current Warriors' form is a far cry from years past. Their performance, resembling that of a Play-In Tournament team, has left a sour taste for Dubs fans, especially after a stellar start to the season where they briefly held the top spot. Many fans are losing hope unless the team can turn the tide with consistent performances.

Injuries to several key players certainly haven't helped the team either. With eight players listed on the injury report, Steve Kerr faces a nervous wait ahead of picking his starting lineup to take on the Pacers, who are unbeaten in their previous four games.

Jonathan Kuminga and Gary Payton II remain sidelined with ankle and calf injuries, respectively, and neither player is expected to return soon. Brandin Podziemski is also doubtful for this game, having missed the Warriors' last six matchups.

Meanwhile, Andrew Wiggins will not play against the Pacers due to personal reasons. The status of Moses Moody, who missed the last game against the Pacers due to knee issues, will be determined closer to tip-off. However, Stephen Curry (knee) and Draymond Green (ankle) are unavailable to play for the Warriors. Dennis Schroder (hip) will also be confirmed closer to game time. He was listed as questionable for the last game but ended up playing, and is likely to retain his spot in the lineup.
