The slumping Golden State Warriors take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. The Warriors enter this clash one game under .500 after Monday's embarrassing 104-101 loss to the nine-win Toronto Raptors. They are 19-20 on the season, reeling in 11th spot in the Western Conference standings.
Nevertheless, the matchup against the Timberwolves could be an ideal way for the Warriors to get back on track. They hold a 2-1 advantage against Anthony Edwards and Co. this season. The Warriors won their last matchup 114-106 on Dec. 8. Steph Curry produced a heroic 30-point game. Buddy Hield added 27, and Jonathan Kuminga finished with 20 points in that clash.
While the Warriors have a slight head-to-head advantage, the Timberwolves have better momentum, with four wins in their past five games. They beat quality teams like the LA Clippers and Orlando Magic in that span. The Warriors will need a collective effort, which they produced on Dec. 8.
The majority of their struggles lately have been a result of their role players not performing consistently.

Golden State Warriors injury report: Draymond Green iffy to suit up, 5 more players on injury report
The Golden State Warriors must battle against an injury bug ahead of Wednesday's clash. Veteran forward Draymond Green is on the list, too. He is questionable with a Left L5-S1 disc injury and general illness. Meanwhile, Kyle Anderson is carrying the same status, citing left hamstring soreness.
Trayce Jackson-Davis and Gary Payton II are probable. Jackson-Davis has a right thumb sprain, and Payton is dealing with a left calf strain. Both players are likely to suit up.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Kuminga and Brandon Podziemski are among the absentees. Kuminga is recovering from a right ankle sprain, and Podziemski is managing a right abdominal injury.
The Warriors could be severely depleted in the frontcourt if Draymond Green and Trayce Jackson-Davis join Jonathan Kuminga on the sideline. It would open up minutes for Kevon Looney and Moses Moody.
