The Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers will lock horns on Friday at the Intuit Dome. It's their second matchup of the season. The Clippers won 102-99 when they last met the Warriors on Nov. 18. Norman Powell's 23 points, James Harden's 12 points and 16 assists and Ivica Zubac's eight points and 17 rebounds did the trick.
The Warriors got a 26-point effort from Steph Curry and 22 points from Andrew Wiggins. The others struggled on offense. It was a close game nonetheless with the Warriors putting in an excellent shift defensively.
However, a lot has changed since. The Warriors are no longer the force they were at the season's start. After 11 losses in their last 14 games, they have slumped to a 15-14 record. Golden State has struggled on both ends in this stretch. The Warriors will also be without leading scorer Steph Curry.
On the other hand, the Clippers have been way better in the same span. Since their last game against the Warriors, LA has improved to 17-13 from 8-7. The Clippers continue to grind out wins in Kawhi Leonard's absence, thanks to James Harden, Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac executing plans to perfection.
