The Golden State Warriors visited the Phoenix Suns at the Footprint Center on Saturday night. The Warriors got Steph Curry back from a minor injury that caused him to miss their previous game. The Suns, on the other hand, were without Bradley Beal and Jusuf Nurkic.
Tyus Jones stepped up for Phoenix, finishing with 19 points and three assists. Devin Booker had a game-high 27 points as the Suns handed the Warriors their fourth straight defeat. Kevin Durant struggled from the floor, but still managed to score 21 points on 20 shots.
Meanwhile, Curry had 23 points in his return though he was barely a factor in the first half. Andrew Wiggins had another solid performance with 18 points, three rebounds and three assists. Draymond Green contributed 13 points, seven assists and two steals in the 113-105 loss.

In the first quarter, the Golden State Warriors were up 5-0 quickly and the Phoenix Suns needed two minutes to score their first basket. It was a slow game as both teams were struggling to make shots before things picked up midway through the period.
The Suns finished the final three minutes of the quarter on a 15-8 run to earn a 35-29 lead. Devin Booker led the way with 10 points in the first 12 minutes of the contest. Steph Curry struggled with just two points for the Warriors.
Phoenix caught fire from beyond the arc in the second quarter, led by Grayson Allen, who hit three 3-point shots. Things were physical as referees were letting both teams play despite some contact on both ends. The Suns outscored the Warriors 31-20 in the period as they took a 66-49 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, Steph Curry came alive for the Golden State Warriors. Curry exploded for 15 points as the Warriors trimmed the Phoenix Suns' lead to just seven points heading into the fourth quarter. Devin Booker helped keep Golden State at bay by going toe-to-toe with Curry.
The Suns dominated the final period, making stops and hitting shots until the Warriors made another run late. They were up by as much as 15 points before Golden State rallied to bring it down to just six with less than two minutes remaining.
Despite costly turnovers, the Suns were able to close it out from the free throw line to get the 113-105 win.
The Warriors have now lost four straight games after starting the season 12-3. They are struggling to make shots when they need it the most. They blew two double-digit leads and rallied too late in two games during the losing streak.
On the other hand, the Suns now have some momentum heading into their final Emirates NBA Cup group game against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday.
