NBA legend Dwyane Wade is joining NBC's Olympic basketball broadcast team this summer. Team USA is looking for revenge in Paris after a poor performance in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, and Wade has been cast to accompany fans during this hard-fought tournament.
Whenever Wade makes headlines, a lot of people react. This time wasn't an exception. One fan wasn't happy with this decision and claimed that Wade is going to give excessive attention to LeBron James, who's set to represent Team USA for a final time on the international stage.
"N***a just gonna glaze LeBron the whole game," this fan wrote.

More fans were in complete disagreement with this decision, claiming nobody asked for this.
"Nobody wanted this," one fan said.
"When NBC gets the NBA deal they have to do better than this," another fan wrote.
Other fans were more receptive to the news, praising NBC for this call and predicting good things from Wade's analysis.
"Testing ground for being NBA analyst in '25-'26 season," somebody said.
Dwyane Wade has taken a different path than a lot of former players, going for executive roles and buying stakes in various teams from a variety of leagues (more famously the Utah Jazz and Chicago Sky). He's participated in shows like Inside the NBA, but that wasn't his main job after retiring from the game in 2019.
Dwyane Wade selected to host commercial for the 2024 NBA Finals
Dwyane Wade has also been cast for a major commercial ahead of the 2024 NBA Finals. The Boston Celtics are waiting for the Minnesota Timberwolves or the Dallas Mavericks, but the league is ready to see whoever makes it out of the West visit the Celtics at TD Garden for Game 1 of the Finals.
He starred in a commercial called 'The Toast,' sending a message to the players aspiring to win the Larry O'Brien trophy this season.
"All the people downstairs, they're waiting. You feel great, you ready? Are you ready? It's the finals," Wade says.
Dwyane Wade also spoke of the legacy of the teams competing for the championship this year, offering a toast to the players who will fight for the title.
"To legacies that are on the line and to the rest of us waiting on the edge of our seats to see where the trophy will end up next. To the season that was and to the champions to be, here's to going out with a best-of-seven ... Bang! To the NBA Finals."
