NFL legend Tom Brady went to Paris to celebrate with Jayson Tatum and Team USA’s special event in the Olympics. USA Basketball, which celebrated its 50th anniversary, held a party to honor its past and current players. Americans from across different disciplines and former athletes joined the celebration.
During the event, Tatum, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White posed for photos with the former New England Patriots quarterback. It wasn’t surprising for the quartet to have a picture together as Brady is a big Boston Celtics fan. “TB12” once tried to help the Celtics recruit Kevin Durant in the summer of 2016.
Jayson Tatum shared a photo on X, formerly Twitter, and promptly earned the response of fans:

“This photo has more rings than the Miami Heat, 76ers, Jimmy Butler, Joel Embiid, Devin Booker and everyone else”
@tronniel commented:
“Best current Boston athlete and best all-time Boston athlete”
One fan described the photo in five words:
“4 CHAMPS IN ONE PIC”
Another fan counted the championships in the photo:
“11 rings in that room”
Tom Brady won a staggering seven Super Bowls in his career, six of which were with the Patriots. Of the six times he lifted the Vince Lombardi Trophy, he was named MVP in five. Every list of all-time Boston great athletes has Brady’s name in it.
Meanwhile, Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White helped guide the Boston Celtics to an NBA-best 18th championship. It was the first time for White and “JT" while Holiday won his second after getting one with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021.
The Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat have three championships each. Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler and Devin Booker have not lifted the Larry O’Brien Trophy in their careers. Embiid, in particular, hasn’t had much success in the playoffs because of Tatum and Co.
Jayson Tatum and the Celtics had help from Tom Brady hyping-up fans in the 2024 NBA Finals
Jayson Tatum and the Celtics looked to redeem themselves in the 2024 NBA Finals after getting outclassed in 2022 by the Golden State Warriors. Standing in their way were Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks. To hype up the Celtics faithful for the championship round, the franchise got a little help from Tom Brady.
The Celtics PR team created a clip of opposing fans shouting “We want Boston!” Brady countered that with a voice-over:
“Really? You want Boston? Take it from me, that’s a bad idea.”
"The [Heat] culture? History. Cleveland [Cavaliers]? Done for. And Indy [Pacers]? Over with. But us? We’re still here. Right now, you’re gonna want anyone but Boston."
Jayson Tatum, Jrue Holiday, Derrick White and NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown led the Celtics to the championship. Tom Brady’s words almost seemed prophetic during the title round against the Dallas Mavericks.
