"He ain't signed an autograph since Iggy dropped him" - Ex-Warriors irks Nick Young with Iggy Azalea comments

Nick Young and Iggy Azalea's relationship was one of the high-profile relationships of its time. The NBA star dating one of the best-selling female rappers in the world made the perfect romance story. However, after three years of dating, a viral video of Young bragging about cheating on Azalea ended the relationship.

While Young and Azalea both enjoyed fame in their fields, their relationship also helped them expand their reach beyond that. Today, Swaggy P has 3.3 million Instagram followers, but Gilbert Arenas said that Young had millions of followers because of Azalea, which irked the 2018 NBA champion.

Arenas, a former Golden State Warriors player, posted a video from his "Gil's Arena" podcast on Sunday. The clip showed Nick Young expressing his discomfort with signing autographs on the streets.

While Young spoke, Arenas kept on laughing at Young.

"He won a championship and nobody know who the f**k he is to sign an autograph. It's crazy," the three-time All-Star quipped.

Young playfully retorted, alluding to his number of followers compared to Arenas, who had over 2 million fewer followers.

"Hey, how many followers you got?" Young asked.

Arenas quickly responded.

"Don't do that," Arenas said. "You got yours from your girlfriend. Iggy got you (followers). You ain't moved to one thousand since. He ain't signed an autograph since Iggy dropped him."

Nick Young and Iggy Azalea started dating in 2013. However, in March 2016, a video of Young bragging about cheating on his fiancee went viral. The video was recorded by D'Angelo Russell, who was then a rookie with the LA Lakers. Three months later, in June 2016, Azalea broke up with Nick Young.

During their relationship, Nick Young and Iggy Azalea lived together. In an interview with VladTV, Young said that he had the responsibility to get the house and Azalea would take care of the furniture.

"After it was over, I come back all the furniture gone, bed is gone," Young recalled. "I came home and everything was gone, bro. I came home to a tow truck towing the car she got me. ... (she got me) '64 Impala for my birthday. ... I loved that car 'cause it was blue, it was LA, but, yeah, she took that. I was being petty. I took the ring back,"

After the video of Young bragging about cheating went viral, Azalea said that Young was "just trying to look cool and trying to look like the man to a younger guy." However, three months later, she broke up with him after she found evidence of Young cheating on her.
