Since arriving in the NBA back in 2009, Bucks guard Patrick Beverley has played in 14 seasons and has garnered a reputation as one of the fiercest competitors in the league.
However, Reddit user Matanavishai shared Euroleague analyst Tsibos' report regarding Beverley receiving an offer from the Israel basketball team, Hapoel Tel Aviv. The post garnered strong reactions from NBA fans.
Beverley originally started the 2023-24 season playing for the Philadelphia 76ers before he was eventually traded to Milwaukee. The move was done in exchange for Cameron Payne and a 2027 second-round draft pick.
He was also envisioned as a locker room piece given his veteran leadership and defensive tenacity on the court.

In response to the post, numerous fans mocked Patrick Beverley in the comments section.
"He can rebuild Gaza with his bricks."
Reddit user Top-Surprise6577 argued that the next five years of Beverley's career in the NBA have already entered murky territory.
"His next five years have already passed," the fan posted.
Reddit user jefe_hook mocked the news involving the Bucks guard by referring to the time he refused to answer questions from ESPN's Malinda Adams. This was after the team's Game 6 loss to the Indiana Pacers.
"NBA teams are not allowed to sign him if they didn't subscribe to his podcast," the fan posted.
Reddit user Useful_Dragonfruit_1 pointed at Patrick Beverley's subpar shooting numbers and the incident of him throwing a basketball twice at Pacers fans in Game 6.
"Not only has his shot fallen off, but he's suspended to start this season after repeatedly beaning fans in the face with a basketball. What team wants that distraction for an end of the bench guy?" the fan questioned.
Reddit user OG_Wan_Anunoby highlighted Beverley's current situation as a player who has jeopardized several relationships in the NBA.
"It's less about his play and more about he's burned a lot of bridges," the fan posted.
Be that as it may, it remains to be seen what befalls Patrick Beverley's future in the league. The Bucks guard is also suspended by the NBA for four games after his fan incident in Indiana, as per ESPN's Tim Bontemps.
Patrick Beverley called his actions in Game 6 against the Indiana Pacers 'inexcusable'
Following his incident involving Pacers fans during the Bucks' 120-98 loss in Game 6, Patrick Beverley issued an apology to the fans he threw a basketball towards. He issued this apology in an episode of The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone. He released it on May 28.
"I will be better," Beverley said. "I have to be better, and I will be better. That should have never happened. Regardless of what was said, that should have never happened. Simple as that."
From his perspective, he has no words to defend his actions as he deemed them "inexcusable." It was a disappointing first-round loss for the Milwaukee Bucks who entered the regular season with high expectations following the acquisition of Damian Lillard.
However, on-court chemistry issues and Giannis Antetokounmpo's torn Achilles tendon proved all too much to handle for the team as tensions ran high in a pivotal playoff game.
