"He definitely has that on Jordan"- Fans joke about 'faithful' LeBron James in pic with Tyla

LeBron James is in Paris, France to lead Team USA in the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. It will be James’ first Olympics appearance since 2012 and he will be the nation’s flag bearer alongside tennis star Coco Gauff in what is anticipated to be a grand Olympic opening ceremony on Friday.

Hours before the Olympic competition heats up, James attended a party held by Louis Vuitton Chairman and CEO, Bernard Arnault, and Comcast Corporation Chairman and CEO, Brian Roberts. The night was dubbed the “Prelude to the Olympics” and was attended by other top superstars in sports, fashion and entertainment.

James, as one of LV’s brand ambassadors, rubbed shoulders with some of the world’s A-listers. Among them was the pop star Tyla, who also performed at the party. Tyla sang the hit track “Water” and is a Grammy-award-winning singer.

Their picture together made rounds in social media as two of the best in their respective industries linked up ahead of the biggest sporting competition in the world. In particular, James' stance in the photo caught the attention of some fans on X/Twitter.

Fans soon reacted to the photo, noticing James’ subtle gestures and stance while posing beside the famous artist.

“Top ranking legacy member of the faithful Black men association,” one fan said.

“What’s not going to happen is Lebron getting caught up on something like a photo!! He’s my GOAT,” one fan said.

“The GOAT of “I have a gf/wife” stance,” another fan said.

Other fans joked about the photo as they found James’ stoic stance humorous:

“Man said I ain’t come to Paris to lose my wife,” another fan said.

“He’s scouting for bronny,” another quipped.

The last tweet was referencing Michael Jordan’s famous extramarital affair. His former wife Juanita Vanoy once reportedly hired a private investigator to tail Jordan on his trips to Florida and Chicago for four years.

LeBron James reunites with former NBA Finals rival in Paris

Not only did LeBron James meet Tyla in Paris, but he also reunited with Tony Parker, whom James faced multiple times in the NBA Finals. Parker is a French basketball legend and was named to the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Parker faced James in the NBA Finals in three separate years. The first one being in 2007 when Parker led the San Antonio Spurs to a sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and again in 2013 and 2014.

Now retired, Parker will be on the sidelines to support the France national team, while James is expected to lead Team USA to another Olympic gold medal.

Team USA is grouped with Serbia, South Sudan and Puerto Rico. LeBron James and Co. will start their Olympic campaign on July 28 against Serbia.
