LeBron James felt the Intuit Dome hostility after debuting at the LA Clippers' new home arena on Sunday. During a mid-game fan contest organized by the Clippers, a 40-year-old participant roasted the Lakers star, saying he would show LeBron how it's done at his age.

"I feel good and Imma show LeBron how a 40-year-old is supposed to do it," the fan said.

However, it didn't bode well for him as he missed the wide-open sitters under the rim with a chance to make money through different spots and certain monetary value. The fan attempted all his shots under the rim and made only one.

NBA Twitter didn't miss the opportunity to mock the fan for boldly calling out LeBron James and failing to deliver. One fan wrote:

"Bro straight embarrassed himself lol he can't even jump"

Another said:

"These the ppl on their twitter account hating on Bron"

One fan wrote:

"Average LeBron hater"
"Type of ppl who be saying lebron is soft," one fan added.

A Clippers supporter also joined the fan's mockery, saying:

"I am a clipper fan and this is very funny"

LeBron James' double-double not enough as Lakers fall to Clippers in Intuit Dome debut

The Clippers fan who roasted LeBron James and the team's other supporters at the Intuit Dome had the last laugh on Sunday. LeBron and the Lakers fell to a 116-102 blowout loss against the Clippers in their debut at their rivals' new home arena. A 25-point, 11-assist double-double from LeBron wasn't enough for LA. His supporting cast couldn't match the Clippers' collective effort.

James Harden, Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac had 20-point games, while Kawhi Leonard fell one shy of the mark in his 24 minutes of action. The two-time finals MVP was on a minute restriction. However, that didn't matter to the Clippers, who fended off a later run from their cross-town rivals. LeBron's 25 points were the most for anyone on the Lakers.

The next closest was Rui Hachimura, with 19 points. Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves were major letdowns as the former tallied 16 points and 10 rebounds on 35.7%, shooting while Reaves had 14 points and five turnovers.
