Actor and comedian Drew 'Druski' Desbordes is a known basketball enthusiast and NBA fan. However, he isn't just a fan, but also someone who enjoys playing. In fact, in a video posted on the 'Overtime' Instagram account, the actor shared the players who he thinks he is comparable to.
According to him, his skillset can be likened to two elite point guards — namely, Kyrie Irving and Russell Westbrook. He continued by saying that he's built like a guard, which results in him being compared to players with backcourt skills.

The actor's comments earned plenty of attention from fans. Some of them talked about how he's more built for football than basketball.

"He got det D-line build," one person commented.
"Lineman left guard build," another person said.
"He thinking bout the wrong guards he more of a NFL guard," another person said.
Meanwhile, other fans began calling for Druski to play against Westbrook and some talked about his basketball skills.
"Now we need a Kai vs Druski 1v1," a fan said.
"Aye he can shoot a lil bit tho," another chimed in.
"I like the Druski x Russ comp," another commenter said.
The comedian also said that he could have gone pro if only he focused on basketball. However, he chose a comedy career instead.
Druski also claimed that he's a pro player during an ESPN broadcast. He joined Stephen A. Smith in covering Game 1 between the LA Lakers and the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 Playoffs.
During that time, the comedian said that he was a professional in his church league. He added that this experience is the reason why he is knowledgeable about basketball.
The Nuggets went on to win that game 132-126 to go up 1-0 in the series. In fact, Nikola Jokic and company would proceed to sweep the Lakers.
Druski picks LeBron James over Michael Jordan and explains why
Every NBA fan has an opinion on who the greatest of all time. Often, that conversation boils down to two figures — LeBron James and Michael Jordan.
The argument on who the greater player is between the two of them often includes personal accolades such as awards. Other times, it's a discussion of how many championships either man has to his name.
However, for Druski, his choice of who the GOAT is goes beyond what either player achieved on the court. Instead, it's all about how they conduct themselves off it.
The actor shared his pick for the GOAT on 'Club Shay Shay' with Shannon Sharpe in a clip from January 2023. In it, he calls LeBron the greatest player of all time.
"I'm big on LeBron man," Druski said. "The way he's just a social person. He's not like (Michael) Jordan and not like, doesn't like people and staying away from the black people and stuff, no shade. It was one of those things where people wanted to love him. Especially our people because we buy all his stuff. Maybe I'm judging a book by its cover."
Druski's verdict will have its supporters and detractors. However, LeBron James' status as one of the greatest of all time is indisputable.
