Kevin Durant's real height has always been questioned by people and remains adamant that he's just around 6-foot-9. However, KD's brother and father have squashed the claim to reveal that he's really 7-foot tall. Kiyan Anthony went further by saying that the two-time NBA champ is around 7-foot-1 based on him standing beside his father Carmelo Anthony.
In a video uploaded by Overtime on X, formerly known as Twitter, several high school basketball players were asked to guess KD's height. It's almost unanimous that many see him at around 7 feet, including his brother Tony Pratt and father Wayne Pratt.
Kiyan Anthony also claimed that KD is around 7-foot-1 standing beside his father Carmelo.
"I ain't gonna lie. I just seen him. KD's 7'1". My pops is like 6'8". He make my pops look...," Kiyan said.

Durant came into the league in 2009 and was measured at 6-foot-10 before the draft. However, he has grown by an inch since then since he's listed as 6-foot-11 on the NBA's official website.
Kevin Durant's height recently in the spotlight after Team USA photo
Kevin Durant's height was put into question again after Team USA's photoshoot wherein he looked the same height as Joel Embiid, who is listed as 7-foot tall. Durant was also visibly taller than players such as Anthony Davis and Bam Adebayo, who are listed as 6-foot-10 and 6-foot-9, respectively.
In an interview with Kay Adams, the Phoenix Suns star was asked about the viral video and photos. He continued to stick to his schtick and claimed that he was only 6-foot-9 and that the other players were lying about their true height.
"I guess those guys must be shorter than what they say. I'm 6'9" though. So it looks like Bam Adebayo is probably like 6'8" instead of 6'10". AD is probably 6'9" so they're probably adding more to their height. I'm not lying about my height," Durant said.
Kevin Durant injury update for Team USA
While the height issue is not important, Kevin Durant's injury is a more pressing matter for Team USA. Durant has not fully participated in practice due to a calf injury that has kept him out in three exhibition matches against Canada, Australia and Serbia.
However, it seems like KD is close to returning and could be a game-time decision for Team USA's game versus South Sudan in London. Here was what ESPN's Brian Windhorst said on Wednesday:
"Kevin Durant is making progress, getting closer, is what Steve Kerr said. I'm not sure we're going to see him on Saturday in London. The team flies to London tomorrow, but it seems like he's making progress so that's one thing."
