Ja Morant's agent and former NBA player Mike Miller recently hyped up his client ahead of his return next season. Morant played just nine games last season due to his 25-game suspension and a shoulder injury. He is expected to be healthy coming into the 2024-25 campaign and Miller can't wait for everyone to see the two-time All-Star back in action.

On the latest episode of "The OG Show" with Udonis Haslem and Miller, The Athletic's Shams Charania asked the former Rookie of the Year about Morant's progress from his shoulder surgery. The player-turned-agent warned the league that they should not forget about the Memphis Grizzlies star:

"I'm telling you guys right now, Ja Morant is coming for all the work this year. All of it. How soon they forget. How soon they forget. That's all I'll say. He's about to come for it," Miller said.

Ja Morant hasn't had the best 18 months or so since he got into trouble during the 2022-23 NBA season due to a couple of gun-related incidents. The league subsequently suspended him for 25 games after his second violation.

The Grizzlies struggled at the start of last season and never fully recovered. They got some glimmer of hope when Morant returned in December and guided them to a 6-3 record. However, a shoulder injury cut off his campaign as he needed surgery.

In nine games last season, Morant averaged 25.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game. He shot 47.2% from the floor, including 27.5% from beyond the arc and 81.3% from the charity stripe.

Ja Morant returned to his alma mater on Saturday to get inducted into the Murray State Hall of Fame. Morant played two seasons with the Racers before declaring for the 2019 NBA draft, wherein he was selected No. 2 overall by the Memphis Grizzlies.

In two years at Murray State, Morant averaged 18.7 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 8.2 apg and 1.4 spg. He put up 24.5 ppg and 10.0 apg in his second season, becoming the first player in NCAA history to average a double-double of points and assists.

Arguably Morant's biggest achievement in a Racers uniform was leading them to an upset over Marquette in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament. He had 17 points, 11 rebounds and 16 assists, which was just the ninth triple-double in tournament history:

"I appreciate y'all for coming now, with draft, summer league and all just passing. Appreciate y'all. It shows the love and support y'all have for me. Just know it's reciprocated," Morant said in his speech. [H/T Memphis Commercial Appeal]
