Derrick Rose's ex-girlfriend, Mieka Reese, recently shared the homemade dinner she made for their son, Derrick Jr., famously known as "PJ Rose." The former player has been spending more time with his family after officially retiring from the NBA after a 16-year career.
In a post on her Instagram stories on Friday, Reese uploaded a reel of herself showing PJ eating the dinner she made. It was burgers, which her son rated at an 8.5 initially, before changing it to a flat 8.0. Reese caught it and jokingly labeled PJ a "hater" for what he did.
"He's a haterrrrr like bffr lolllll," Reese wrote.

Derrick Rose and Meika Reese welcomed PJ in 2012 when he was still with the Chicago Bulls. PJ is following in the footsteps of his father in basketball, playing for Ja Morant's AAU team, Twelve Time, last year.
The father-son duo recently suited up for the same team in a game at Derrick's alma mater, Simeon Career Academy, in Chicago. PJ showed off similar moves to the former NBA MVP, who still holds the record as the youngest player to win the prestigious award.
Rose announced his retirement on Sept. 26, with the Bulls honoring him on Jan. 4 against the New York Knicks, which was one of his former teams. The Bulls also announced that they will retire Rose's iconic No. 1 jersey to the rafters of the United Center.
His jersey will hang alongside the likes of other legendary Bulls players such as Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Bob Love and Jerry Sloan. Other people honored with a banner include coach Phil Jackson, broadcaster Johnny "Red" Kerr and general manager Jerry Krause.
Derrick Rose is being kept busy by his sons PJ and London after retirement
In addition to his son PJ with Meika Reese, Derrick Rose has a couple more kids with his wife, Alaina Anderson. The couple welcomed their daughter, Layla Malibu, in 2018, while their son, London Marley, was born over a year later.
Speaking to SLAM Magazine earlier this month, Rose was asked what are the things that keep him busy after retiring from the NBA. The former MVP pointed out to his two sons, who both love the game, so he has to monitor them every step of the way.
"My son plays, my youngest son plays and it’s really me tailor-making their schedule, however I see it’s fit for them," Rose said. "Like, both of my kids play, but I don’t push them to actually go out there. I give them the opportunity to voice their opinion on certain things. ...
"That relationship, it helps a lot with me and PJ, and with my youngest, him seeing PJ work out, too. So, basketball is always going to be a part of my life in general."
It will be interesting to see if PJ Rose, as well as London Rose, will make it to the NBA just like their father.
