Steph Curry’s NBA season may have ended on a disappointing note, but this offseason he reminded fans he still has plenty left in the tank by helping lead Team USA to a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
With this victory, Curry became the fifth player in NBA history to win at least four NBA titles, two MVP awards, and an Olympic gold medal. Fans quickly took to social media to celebrate his latest accomplishment.
Curry joined an elite group of players who have achieved this feat, alongside LeBron James, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and Bill Russell.

Here are more reactions to Steph Curry’s latest achievement.
Curry delivered a stellar performance in Team USA's gold medal game against host nation France, leading the team with 24 points, five assists and two steals.
Although Curry didn’t win MVP, he was named to the Olympics All-Star Five after averaging 14.8 points on an impressive 47.8% shooting from three-point range, along with 3.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
Curry reflects on joining another Olympics
After capturing his first Olympic gold medal in Paris, Steph Curry hinted that it might also be his last.
At 36 years old, Curry will be 40 by the time the next Olympics take place in Los Angeles in 2028, and he suggested that this might have been his final opportunity to wear the Team USA jersey.
"This might not come around again," Curry said, according to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press. "It was very, very special."
Even at 36, Curry showed flashes of his prime during these Olympics.
In the fourth quarter of the finals against France, Curry nailed four consecutive triples, including the dagger over two defenders.
Curry isn’t the only superstar likely to step away from Olympic play. LeBron James also indicated that Paris may have been his last Olympics, saying he doesn’t see himself participating in 2028.
"Nah, I can't see myself playing in Los Angeles 2028," James said. "I didn't even see myself playing in Paris 2024, but four years from now, I can't see it."
