The ongoing feud between sports media personalities Stephen A. Smith and Jason Whitlock continued to simmer after the latter called out the ESPN analyst for taking him to task for his remarks on Joy Taylor and the recently filed lawsuit rocking FOX Sports.

Whitlock, a known conservative, responded to what Smith had previously said on his show. The analyst, while not dropping names, alluded that some people were in no position to question the credibility of Taylor and did not have much of an integrity to speak of.

On his "Fearless" show on Thursday, Jason Whitlock responded to the claims of Smith, sharing that the "First Take" host made uninformed remarks and was scared of him.

"Stephen A. thinks I have no right to question Joy Taylor’s credibility. Stephen A., I’ve questioned the whole system, including you," Whitlock said. "The system promotes idiocy. You’re more rewarded for being an idiot, not an intellectual."

"Stephen A. Smith upset with me, can't really talk about it because he scared of me. I get it. This is how uninformed Stephen A. Smith is."

Check out what he had to say below:

Whitlock chimed in on a recent lawsuit filed by a former FOX Sports hairdresser, which accused FOX Sports 1 host Taylor of bullying in the workplace and sleeping with her bosses to advance her career.

He made remarks about the host, which some deemed provocative and inappropriate, including Stephen A. Smith, but something he said he was standing behind. Former FOX talent Skip Bayless and network executive Charles Dixon were also named in the lawsuit for sexual misconduct in the workplace.

Stephen A. Smith lashes out at Jason Whitlock for accusing him of lying in his book

The back-and-forth over Joy Taylor's credibility is the latest twist in the long-standing beef between Stephen A. Smith and Jason Whitlock, which included the former lashing out at his adversary for accusing him of lying in his book, "Straight Shooter."

Smith went on an hour-long rant on his 'The Stephen A. Smith Show' last year against Whitlock, who suggested in his column on The Blaze that the ESPN analyst wrote some stuff on his memoir that was not true.

The "First Take" host took exception to it and unleashed his own criticism on Whitlock, saying:

"He's a piece s**t. He's the dude that's going to have a funeral and ain't going to be no pallbearers."

On the "First Take" show he continued:

"There are people out there lying and actually putting out there that I didn't write my book. I can assure you, so help me God, I wrote my book. It's my memoir. It's my life story. I wasn't leaving that in the hands of other people. So, people who say that, it's just lies."

Smith and Whitlock, a former football player, were used to be colleagues at ESPN.
