Veteran NBA referee Scott Foster will be the crew chief for Game 7 between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves. With each team’s season being decided Sunday, the choice of Foster hasn't brought happiness to either team’s fanbase.

Fans on X wrote that Game 7 between the Timberwolves and the Nuggets will be in the news Monday for Scott Foster and not for any player. Some also jokingly posted that it would be a historical performance from Foster.

"Scott Foster about to make game 7 all about himself," a fan wrote.

"I'm pretty sure that we will be talking more about this ref than the game itself when it's over," one added.

Some New York Knicks fans also commented. They were mostly happy that Foster wouldn't be officiating the Game 7 between the Indiana Pacers and the Knicks.

However, there were also a few who said that Foster was a great choice for Game 7 and called him the greatest referee in the game.

"Scot Foster > Tony Brothers. The GOAT of referees. Can't wait to see him ball out tonight," a fan wrote.
