Steph Curry finished the 2024 Paris Olympic men's basketball tournament on a strong note, leading Team USA to a 98-87 win over France. He dropped 24 points, which included some clutch shots.
The Golden State Warriors superstar was missing an Olympic gold medal on his resume and after a terrific performance, he can cross that.
Curry made some big shots down the stretch. This included four 3-pointers in the final minutes of the game, keeping France away as they tried to get close.
The dagger came with 34.5 seconds left on the clock. Steph was toying with two defenders and after getting a little space, he made a big shot over Victor Wembanyama.

Steph Curry finished the game with 24 points, on 62% shooting from the floor and 67% from beyond the arc, making eight of 12 3-pointer attempts. He added one rebound, five assists and two steals to his account but everybody was talking about his shooting prowess after the game.
The NBA world was in awe of Curry's performance and some of his peers showered him with praise after such a terrific game.
"HOLY SH!T STEPH🔥🔥🔥," Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell wrote.
"Steph crazy lol," Damian Lillard wrote.
"NIGHT, NIGHT," the Golden State Warriors' X account wrote.
Karl-Anthony Towns, Kevin Garnett and Jordan Clarkson noted how difficult that shot was and how he managed to score over two defenders.
Team USA had to fight hard but they managed to win this duel, with Curry showing up when the team most needed him. He made it clear that the American NBA stars are still above everybody else on the international stage.
Steph Curry had two big games at the right time
Steph Curry didn't have the best start to the 2024 Paris Olympics basketball men's tournament. The four-time NBA champion took a back seat and let other players like Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Anthony Edwards lead the team against other opponents.
Once the semifinal started, Curry was on a mission, scoring 17 points in the first quarter of the game. The Chef finished the game with 36 points, including the 3-pointer that gave Team USA the 87-86 lead with less than two minutes left on the clock.
Curry kept the same energy today, although his shots didn't fall as early as they did against Serbia. Anyway, he finished with 24 points, more than anybody else on the team, becoming a serious candidate for the Olympic MVP award.
