Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors defeated Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets 118-104 on Friday at Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
Curry led the Warriors with 36 points, five assists and two rebounds. In 32 minutes, he shot 13-for-24, including 7-for-15 from the 3-point line. He went perfect from the charity stripe in three attempts. He also had two steals, a block and two turnovers.
With the crucial win, Golden State (46-31) extended its win streak to five games. The Warriors are No. 5 in the tight Western Conference playoff race and half-game behind the Nuggets.

Curry has appeared in 64 of the Warriors' 76 games this season, averaging 24.6 points, 6.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds. In 32.2 minutes per game, he's shooting 44.6%, including 39.8% from the 3-point line.

On Friday, Curry played nine and a half minutes in the opening quarter. He had seven points, two assists and a steal on a perfect 3-for-3 shooting, including one 3-pointer.
Curry scored 12 of his 19 first-half points in the second quarter. He played 15 minutes at the half and shot 7-for-11, including 3-for-6 from downtown.
In the third quarter, Curry contributed nine points, a rebound, an assist and a block as Golden State took a 96-84 lead heading into the final frame. At that point, he already had 28 points and three assists on 10-for-17 shooting (6-for-10 from beyond the arc).
Curry scored eight more points in the final quarter as his team held on for the victory. He logged a total of 32:11 minutes on the second night of a back-to-back set.

On Thursday, Steph Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a 123-116 road win against the LA Lakers. The game is crucial, considering the tight Western Conference playoff race. Lakers vs. Warriors could also be a potential first-round matchup.
In the postgame interview, TNT's Allie LaForce asked Curry about highlight finishes at the rim.
"My mom always used to say I was like the clumsiest kid, so I'm good," Curry said. "I'm good when I'm off-balance."
Steph Curry finished the game with 37 points, six assists and three rebounds on 10-for-21 shooting, including 4-for-11 from the 3-point line. The Warriors are gearing up for what they hope will be a deep postseason run this year.
