Luka Doncic went viral during the Western Conference finals series between the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves for talking trash with a fan. Snoop Dogg was at courtside when it happened and has finally shared what really happened during the incident.

In an appearance on "Whoo's House" podcast with DJ Whoo Kid, the legendary rapper was asked about Doncic. Snoop explained that he became a fan of the Mavs superstar after what happened and witnessing his dominance over the Timberwolves.

"I never seen Luka play live. I wanted to see him get out, Kyrie as a friend of mine, just want to see some good basketball and Anthony Edwards a bad motherf***er. ... I was there on a friend pass to enjoy some basketball the day before to get down and Luka wasn't talking to me. It was somebody that was talking sh*t to him the whole game. Every minute I was there, he was like, 'Luka, you a cry baby. You cried.' And then when Luka took the lead, he said, 'Who's crying now motherf***er?'

He added:

"I was like this ni**a's a dog. He get out. I like his get out 'cause he meets the press, you know what I'm saying? I became a fan of Luka that night."

Luka Doncic dominated the Minnesota Timberwolves and eliminated them in five games en route to the NBA Finals. However, the Dallas Mavericks are on the brink of elimination since the Boston Celtics are up 3-1 in the series. The Mavs finally won a game in Game 4 after losing the first three of the NBA Finals.

Dallas is trying to become the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-0 deficit. They have momentum going into Game 5 back in Boston, while the Celtics have all the pressure in the world to close the game out and win their 18th NBA championship.

Luka Doncic blamed himself for the Dallas Mavericks' loss in Game 3 when he fouled out with around four minutes left in the fourth quarter. Doncic was criticized by many for his poor decision-making, especially on the defensive end.

Some were even anticipating a sweep by the Boston Celtics, but the Mavs came out firing in the first quarter. Dallas was in total control of the game and never allowed the Celtics to make a run. It led to an embarrassing 38-point loss, which one of the biggest defeats in NBA Finals history.

While others argued that the Celtics let this one slip to win at home, it gave the Mavericks the momentum they needed. They can either shock the world in Game 5 to force another one back in Dallas or Boston will win their first title since 2008.
