"I'd lowkey be mad" - Former DPOY surprised by Nikola Jokic's NBA 2K25 rating, says A'ja Wilson also underrated

Coming off a season where he won his third MVP, Nikola Jokic is one of the top-rated players in the upcoming "NBA 2K25" video game. Despite having the highest overall on the men's side, one current player feels like the superstar center should be rated higher.

During a recent episode of "The Old Man and The Three" podcast, former Defensive Player of the Year Jaren Jackson Jr. was asked about this year's 2K ratings. The Grizzlies player admitted that he'd be ticked off if he were in Jokic's position.

"I wish I had three MVPs and give me a 97," Jackson Jr. said. "I'd lowkey be mad."

As the discussion went on, one of the producers said that WNBA star A'ja Wilson is a 99 overall in the game. Jackson Jr. replied:

"A'ja should be 100 and Joker needs to be like 98," he continued.

Three players currently sit at 97 overall in NBA 2K25. However, the Denver Nuggets star has been cited as the highest-rated player in the game. The other two 97s are Luka Doncic and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Nikola Jokic is coming off arguably one of his most dominant seasons last year. Along with leading the Nuggets to the second seed in the West, he averaged 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds and 9.0 assists.

Nikola Jokic shows out in former player's farewell game

Over the weekend, longtime NBA point guard Goran Dragic held his farewell game in Slovenia. It ended up becoming a star-studded affair, with Nikola Jokic being among those to partake in this event.

Jokic was just one of the many current or former superstars to play in Dragic's farewell game. Luka Doncic was also in action, along with Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki. Former All-Stars Chris Bosh and Steve Nash also made the trip to be part of their former teammate's final matchup.

Nikola Jokic isn't really known for his athleticism, but he ended up shocking the crowd during the Dragic game Saturday. While running a fastbreak, he threw a lob to himself off the backboard and dunked it.

Dragic played 15 years in the NBA after being a second-round pick in 2008. He primarily played for the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat but bounced around the league in his final years. Some of Dragic's career highlights include being an All-Star in 2018 and winning Most Improved Player in 2014.

Along with having one last chance to play with some of his closest friends, Dragic made sure his farewell game was for a good cause. All the proceeds from the event were distributed among numerous charitable foundations.
