Chicago Bulls forward Torrey Craig and rapper Megan Thee Stallion surprised many NBA fans by appearing together on Instagram Live on Tuesday night for a couples challenge. In the video, they answered questions about each other, essentially revealing their relationship status to viewers.

Immediately, many fans around the league began jesting at the situation, using Shaquille O'Neal's "I wasn't familiar with your game" meme, which is often used to signify underestimating someone.

"I wasn’t familiar with his game," one fan wrote.

Another fan posted a meme for Torrey Craig, and a flood of similar comments followed:

Torrey Craig's role with Chicago uncertain heading into 2024-25 season

Torrey Craig joined the Chicago Bulls on a two-year deal last season after spending a year and a half with the Phoenix Suns. He played 53 games for the Bulls and saw an uptick in minutes when forward Patrick Williams suffered an injury. As a result, Craig also started 14 games for the team.

In an average of 19.8 minutes per game under coach Billy Donovan, Craig posted 5.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting an efficient 43.0% from the floor and 39.2% from three. This offseason, he opted into the second year of his deal, returning to a Bulls team that is fresh off a big shakeup this summer.

With the departures of DeMar DeRozan, Alex Caruso, and Andre Drummond, the team is looking to give young players more opportunities, including Williams, Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Matas Buzelis and new addition Josh Giddey. So it's unclear what role Torrey Craig will play this season. However, he is listed as a third-string forward on the depth chart.
