Back in 2019, Giannis Antetokounmpo walked out of a postgame news conference after Malika Andrews asked both him and Khris Middleton a question following a playoff elimination. At the time, Antetokounmpo and the Bucks had just given up four straight games to lose the Eastern Conference Finals.
While speaking on the most recent episode of Thanasis Antetokounmpo's "Thanalysis" show, the Greek Freak joked about not getting an invite to Andrews' wedding. While doing so, he opened up on the viral press conference moment from the playoffs
Antetokounmpo said he didn't specifically walk out because of Andrews, and the two are on good terms now. Despite that, Antetokounmpo didn't get an invite to her wedding like Andrews promised.
"I like Malika, whenever I see her she's fine. She didn't invite me to the wedding though. She told me she's going to invite me to the wedding, she didn't invite me to the wedding. ... They said they were going to invite me to the wedding they didn't, I didn't get an invitation. I didn't get an invitation."

Giannis Antetokounmpo reveals he contacted Malika Andrews to apologize after walking out of press conference
Immediately after the Bucks were eliminated by Kawhi Leonard and the Raptors someone showed Antetokounmpo an article in the locker room before he had a chance to take a shower. The story, written by Andrews, suggested Antetokounmpo could leave Milwaukee if the Bucks didn't make a Finals run next season.
“Then I walked in [to the press conference], and I don't even remember the question. ... Malika asked me a question. I honestly don’t even remember [what the question was] because I was zoned out. It was my first time being in that stage, I was 24 years old. I was 24. I was young.
"Maybe I didn’t know how to handle it back then … But man, I felt bad. You can ask Malika. The same night, I didn’t have her number — I try not to exchange numbers and stuff, so I found her, I think on Twitter and I'm like, ‘I’m so sorry for the way I reacted. You did not deserve this. I'm sorry.' Immediately!”
When Thanasis asked him whether his decision to walk out was specifically because Andrews asked him a question, Giannis said no.
