NBA fans are concerned about the safety of LeBron James, his family and his home in Brentwood amid the wildfire in the Los Angeles area. Several high-profile celebrities and thousands of families have lost their homes because of the fire's destruction, which started on Jan. 7.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the LA Lakers fan page LakeShowYo shared news about the Palisades fire closing in on the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Brentwood, which has a population of around 35,000, is home to many celebrities, including James and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Plenty of fans online, especially those who follow the LA Lakers and LeBron James, are wishing the best for "The King" and the rest of the community. They wished the entire family to be safe from the raging fire that has destroyed thousands of homes.

"I hope Savannah stays safe, man," a fan tweeted.
"GET LEBRON OUT OF THERE. WHAT WE DOING????" one fan asked.
"My glorious King Kames. I hope you survive in this wild fire," another fan commented.

The LA Lakers have had their last two games postponed due to the wildfire that has affected many communities. Coach JJ Redick lost his rental home in Palisades due to the fire, losing a lot of his family's personal stuff.

"SOMEONE RESCUE LEBRON 💔💔" a fan questioned.
"No not my king," one fan wrote.

Meanwhile, a concerned fan thought of not just LeBron, but all people affected by the fires.

"This is beyond heartbreaking. It’s devastating for the people who have lost everything," another fan remarked.

LeBron James and his family moved to Los Angeles in 2018 when he signed with the Lakers as a free agent. He helped the franchise win its 17th championship in 2020.

The LA Lakers were supposed to begin a five-game homestand last Thursday, but the NBA postponed the first two amid the Los Angeles wildfire. The Lakers also showed its support for coach JJ Redick, who lost his rental home in Palisades, which has been devastated by the fire.

In a post on X, LeBron James broke his silence to send a message to his followers regarding the destructive fire.

"I pray this nightmare ends soon! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾. So many prayers," James tweeted.

The Lakers are scheduled to host the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, but that could be up in the air depending on the situation. There are four major fires in Los Angeles, with Palisades contained at just 11%, Eaton at 15%, Hurst at 76% and Kenneth at 80%.
