Jayson Tatum shared his thoughts about NBA players becoming WWE superstars. Tatum identified Draymond Green as the perfect player to transition from basketball to pro wrestling.

On "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Wednesday, Tatum was asked to name one NBA star who could succeed as a WWE wrestler.

"I love him to death, Draymond Green," Tatum said.

Tatum has been close with Green over the years and he's not wrong to think that the Golden State Warriors star could succeed inside the ring. Green is known for his toughness, physicality, and alleged "dirty" plays that have resulted in multiple suspensions.

In addition to his moves, Green has the height to dominate pro wrestling. He stands at 6-foot-6 and weighs around 230 pounds.

Draymond Green married his longtime girlfriend Hazel Renee on Aug. 14, 2022. It was an amazing year for Green on and off the court, winning his fourth NBA championship two months prior. Many players were invited to the wedding, including several Golden State Warriors teammates and Lakers icon LeBron James.

One surprising attendee was Jayson Tatum, who lost to the Warriors in the 2022 NBA Finals. Tatum and Green were teammates for Team USA at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, winning a gold medal together.

They have been friends since then and Tatum finally won a title with the Boston Celtics this year. The Celtics finally put their 2022 heartbreak on the backburner by winning their 18th banner. Jayson Tatum didn't have the best NBA Finals series but picked up the slack in the final few games as they defeated Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in five games.

In addition to his first NBA championship, Tatum also won his second gold medal in Paris although his limited playing time under Steve Kerr was scrutinized. He continued his offseason by being on the cover of NBA 2K25 and publishing his children's book inspired by his son Deuce.
