PJ Washington surprised his wife Alisah Chanel with a lot of flowers and some strawberries recently. Chanel shared the loving gesture her husband did plus the message he wrote for her. The couple has been married since October 2023 and has a son named Preston.

In a post on her official Instagram stories, Chanel shared a video of their kitchen counter filled with roses and strawberries. It was a surprise from Washington, who cut the stems and put all the roses in water so that they'll last longer removed from the solid.

"Came downstairs to these. He had already took them out & cut the stems and put them in water," Chanel wrote.

Towards the end of the reel, Chanel zoomed in on a small envelope containing a hand-written message from Washington, saying:

"I love you. Hope you enjoy."

Love is alive and well in the Washington household despite what happened at the 2024 NBA Finals. PJ and the Dallas Mavericks fell short of their goal of winning the NBA championship. Now, it's off to the offseason as the Washingtons spend time together with family.

The couple has been together for a while now and were engaged back in August 2022. Alisah Chanel became pregnant later that year and gave birth to Preston last year. PJ Washington then married Chanel in a ceremony back in August.

"I have said, he is a good person, he is a good father, he was not a good partner to me, and I'm allowed to say that. That was my experience with him, so we can move forward and me understand that, that was never my guy. That wasn't my husband and that’s okay ‘cause he still was a catalyst for my growth," Renner said.
