LiAngelo Ball, the brother of Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball and Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball, has expressed his desire to make it to the NBA and team up with his brothers.
Appearing in a live-streamed video on Saturday with social media personality and YouTuber N3on, LiAngelo discussed his aspirations for his basketball career.
"I love to go to the NBA and play with my brothers. ... It ain't gonna hurt, I'm not asking for a billion," LiAngelo said.
LiAngelo emphasized that he wouldn’t be a risk for an NBA team willing to take a chance on him, as he isn’t demanding a massive contract. The undrafted 2018 NBA prospect has yet to appear in a regular-season NBA game.

While LiAngelo Ball acknowledged that he would likely need to play in the G League first, he noted that his brothers might have to help him along the way.
"This is what I think how my path gotta go. I've gotta go to the G League, get a little film ... And then my brothers gonna have to pull a little weight, that’s just in all honesty,” LiAngelo said.
He also suggested that some NBA teams might be intrigued by the prospect of seeing all three Ball brothers play together.
"Somebody will be like ... let's see them play together, just to test it," LiAngelo said. "I just want to play with one of them and see what happens."
After going undrafted in 2018, LiAngelo Ball was selected as the 14th pick in the 2021 G League Draft. He spent two seasons with the Greensboro Swarm, the G League affiliate of the Hornets. In 19 games, he averaged 7.2 points and 1.7 rebounds. He shot 49.0% from the field and 44.1% from the 3-point line.
LiAngelo Ball awaits G League offer
In a recent interview on Angel Reese’s "Unapologetically Angel" podcast, LiAngelo Ball reiterated his desire to play in the NBA.
His brother Lonzo also joined the interview and revealed that while LiAngelo has received offers from overseas teams, he has declined them to focus on a G League opportunity.
"He's not going overseas... We already got him great deals overseas that he's shot down... I wanted him to go overseas. He didn't want to go overseas," Lonzo said.
LiAngelo admitted that he did turn down offers because he prefers to land a deal in the G League.
"I want to get a call from the G League just so I can open them doors up again ... I'm gonna wait a little longer for the G League," LiAngelo said.
According to Lonzo, LiAngelo's best route to the NBA might involve excelling in overseas leagues.
"I think his (LiAngelo's) path is overseas, it’s been overseas. ... I feel like you got your shot in Summer League with the Hornets. ... You’re gonna sit in the G on the bench, or you’re gonna go overseas to somewhere nice and put up 30?" Lonzo added.
