Even at a young age, LaMelo Ball has shown that he's got some business acumen by launching his own brand, LaFrance. Named after his middle name, LaFrance is a lifestyle and fashion brand that sells clothes and accessories and has even collaborated with Puma for some of their products.
To promote his brand, the Charlotte Hornets point guard posted images on Instagram featuring himself wearing items such as a hoodie and a hat from LaFrance. His teammate on the Hornets, Miles Bridges, commented on the post, referencing Grammy award-winning artist Beyonce's song 'Sorry.'
"I'm sorry not sorry like Beyonce," Bridges commented.

While Ball can easily be considered as the Hornets' best player when he is healthy, Bridges is easily one of his better teammates. In the last two seasons that he's played in, Bridges has averaged over 20 points and seven rebounds per game.
Due to his reliable production, the Hornets front office re-signed Bridges with a three-year $75 million contract.

The NBA nearly fined LaMelo Ball for LaFrance tattoo
In the league's rules regarding how players should be dressed, it is stated that only the players' shoes may bear a commercial logo. This policy almost resulted in LaMelo Ball receiving a fine.
Ball has a tattoo of the letters 'LF,' short for his middle name, LaFrance, located just below his left ear. 'LF' is also the name of Ball's fashion brand.
Initially, the league required Ball to cover the tat during game days. Otherwise, he would have received a fine from the league.
To avoid those fines, Ball complied with the league's decision but he maintained that the tat was for his middle name and not for his brand. Later, the league reversed their decision and allowed Ball to play games without covering his 'LF' tattoo.
