At this stage in his career, Steph Curry is pretty much synonymous with 3-point shooting in the NBA. So, when one of his fellow all-time greats criticizes the volume of outside shots in the league, it was only a matter of time before the Chef dished out a reply.
On Christmas Eve, ESPN released a clip of a sitdown interview between Curry and "NBA Today" host Malika Andrews. In the clip, Andrews brought up LeBron James's comments about "a lot of f***ing 3s being shot" in today's NBA.
Here's what Curry had to say:

"Everybody has their opinion. It's not like I can do a 360 windmill, drive down that lane, and dunk on somebody. For me, I'm never gonna fight a 3-point shot. It's just how I see the game. It's how I've seen the game forever."
Curry, it should be noted, said all this with a humble smile on his face. He then added:
"The cool part is, like, defenses adjust. And it just takes time for that to happen, so we'll see how it goes. But I'mma keep shooting 3s. Don't worry about that."
Curry and James are set to do battle once more when the LA Lakers visit the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day. James, of course, will have to contend with a barrage of outside shooting from the Warriors, with Curry leading the way.
Steph Curry is looking to bounce back after subpar performance vs. Pacers
While Steph Curry is the NBA's all-time leader in 3-point shots (3,841), even he isn't impervious to bad shooting nights.
He had one just on Monday, when he shot 2-for-13 from the field in a 111-105 Warriors loss to the Indiana Pacers. Both of his made field goals were outside shots, but he also happened to miss seven of those. His 15.4% shooting clip against Indiana was one of the worst shooting performances of his entire career.
After the game, Curry held himself accountable for his shooting woes:
"Down the stretch ... I missed two big shots, one to tie, one to take the lead," Curry said. "Shots that I pride myself on. Gotta make those."
Curry. who has made 42.5% of his 3-point shots in his career, has a chance to redeem himself as he goes up against longtime rival LeBron James in their highly anticipated Christmas Day showdown.
