Former LA Lakers center Dwight Howard is the father to five children, three sons and two daughters. While there isn't anything out of the ordinary with that, where things get a little complicated is the fact that every single one of Howard's kids has a different mother.

The 2020 NBA champion discussed fatherhood and his baby mamas in a clip from Ray Daniels' Instagram. The clip, which seems to be a teaser for a future episode on "Ray Daniels Presents" on YouTube, featured Howard candidly discussing his feelings about his children and his relationship with their mothers.

"It's just the whole dynamic," Howard said. "We've got a child. You've moved on. Let's not be mad about it."

Howard then proceeded to talk about how he is happy for his baby mama for being able to move on. However, he also said that he did not want there to be a barrier between him and the mother of his child.

"The child is more important." Howard continued. "The great thing about that situation was that I was just able to get her in court. Unfortunately, we had to go to court. I don't like the court. Let's just figure it out amongst each other. But with those, with my two kids' moms, I don't want to fight with them. This internet stuff, though, the bashing, the butchering of the name. We got kids together, (and) they're growing up. They can see this."

Howard then said that he just did not want his kids to see their parents being discussed negatively in public spaces.

While Howard did not name which ex-partners he was talking about in the clip, it can be assumed that they are Royce Reed and Tiffany Render.

Reed and Render were featured in a teaser for an upcoming reality show called "Ladies of Orange County." In the teaser, the two are having an animated discussion about a man, whom people can assume is Howard.

Another hint that Reed is one of the people that Howard was talking about is that she and Howard fought each other in court. Their battle was regarding custody of their son.

Who are Dwight Howard's five kids?

Dwight Howard's first kid was his son Braylon, who was born in 2007. At the time, Howard was still playing for the Orlando Magic. Braylon's mother is Royce Reed, who was a cheerleader for the team.

In 2010, Tiffany Render and Howard had a daughter named Layla. Howard's next daughter was born in the same year as her but to Hope Alexa. In 2013, Howard had another son named Dwight III, better known as Trey. Trey's mom is Christine Vest.

Howard's youngest son was born in the same year as Trey. His name is David, and his mother, Melissa Rios, died in 2020. Her cause of death was an epileptic seizure.

Dwight Howard is now engaged to Amy Luciani. The two had kept their relationship a secret until they announced their engagement last December.
