The OKC Thunder picked up a decisive Game 3 win after dominating the New Orleans Pelicans, 106-85, to go up 3-0 in the series. Known for their postgame antics, the Thunder players surprised TV viewers by skipping the TNT broadcast postgame interview in favor of the local broadcast.

Allie LaForce was interviewing a group of OKC players, including Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Joe, when the players left her to join Nick Gallo's interview with Josh Giddey for Bally Sports.

Fans were taken aback and amused by the Thunder players' gesture.

Some fans remarked that the Thunder made the right choice by opting for the local broadcast, noting that the team hasn't received much national media attention in years.

“TNT ignored the Thunder for 3 seasons. They can wait,” @Mark73356077772 said.

“Not surprised, the national sports media ignored OKC all season. I know I did,” added @dannyandricky.

Despite initially skipping the TNT broadcast, the Thunder players later joined the TNT interview after the Bally Sports one had concluded.

Looking at OKC Thunder’s Game 3 win

The Thunder outpaced the Pelicans in each quarter of Game 3, holding them to only 19 points in the first quarter before outscoring them 37-27 in the second.

The Thunder finished strong on both offense and defense, preventing any Pelicans comeback and limiting them to just 16 points in the fourth quarter.

Having boasted the fourth-best defensive rating in the regular season, the Thunder have effectively kept the Pelicans from scoring 100 points in all three games of the series.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander spearheaded OKC's Game 3 victory with 24 points and eight assists.

Josh Giddey had his most impactful scoring performance of the series, chipping in 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists, while Jalen Williams also impressed with 21 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

Chet Holmgren didn't have a productive night scoring the ball, finishing with just six points on eight shots, but he made his presence felt with eight rebounds and four blocks.

Brandon Ingram had 19 points on 7-for-14 shooting, while CJ McCollum and Herb Jones contributed 16 and 15 points, respectively, for the Pelicans.

The Thunder will try to win their first playoff series since 2016 in Game 4, which is scheduled for Monday.
