Devin Booker talks about his conditioning for 10th season in the NBA
The 2024-25 season marks Devin Booker’s 10th year in the NBA. During media day, Booker reflected on how he has learned from every teammate he has played with and integrated those lessons into his game and conditioning.
This season, the Suns have kept their big three intact, featuring Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal, which is their new core following the Booker-Chris Paul-Mikal Bridges-DeAndre Ayton era.
“I’m always a sponge. You’ll see guys all have their different kind of ways to stay healthy. KD is obviously somebody, you know, that I’ve watched closely ... he’s just a hooper. I think his love for the game is what keeps him going,” Booker said (per AZ Central).
“And I’ve had plenty of guys around. Chris (Paul) was somebody who was over-obsessive about his body, taking care of his body, you know, so I take bits and pieces from everybody I’m around, and just try to implement it, but, you know, I still do feel really good."
The Suns, led by their trio of Booker, Durant and Beal, have a new head coach in Mike Budenholzer and are looking to improve on their first-round exit from last season.
