Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo didn’t mince words after his teammate, Terry Rozier III, stole a rebound during their 114-98 win on Tuesday against the Golden State Warriors. Adebayo finished with nine rebounds but could have reached double digits if Rozier hadn’t gotten in the way.
In a video posted by House of Highlights on Instagram, Adebayo appeared poised to secure his 10th rebound with just over a minute left in the fourth quarter. However, Rozier, a scoring guard, swooped in and snatched the ball from the big man. The Heat center was visibly frustrated by the missed opportunity.
"D**n it, Terry," Adebayo was heard saying after Rozier ran off with the ball.

The three-time All-Star shared the video on his Instagram story with a playful jab at his teammate.
"Ima beat ya a** @rozier," Adebayo posted.
The team's victory over the Warriors ultimately mattered more than individual stats. Adebayo led all starters in scoring with 19 points on 64.3% shooting, adding five assists, two steals and a block. Rozier contributed nine points, five rebounds and five assists. The Heat's next game is on Thursday against the Utah Jazz.
This season, Adebayo is averaging 16.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. While these numbers are solid, they mark a slight dip in performance compared to previous years.
Meanwhile, Rozier, who has earned $133,841,952 in his career, is averaging 12.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg and 2.9 apg in 31 games this season.
Bam Adebayo is 'disappointed' at the Jimmy Butler-Miami Heat drama
The Heat are in the middle of a challenging 2024-25 NBA season, grappling with internal drama involving All-Star forward Jimmy Butler, who has expressed dissatisfaction with the organization and requested a trade.
Bam Adebayo, one of Miami's leaders, shared his disappointment over the ongoing tension between Butler and the Heat.
“It’s disappointing when you see the organization and a player going head to head like that,” Adebayo said. “But the rest of us got to figure out how to win games. So for me as captain, it’s worrying about the other guys and getting them locked in and ready to go to try to compete and win a game.”
Since Butler’s trade request, the Heat have suspended him for seven games. His suspension began on Saturday against the Utah Jazz. In 22 appearances this season, Butler averaged 17.6 ppg, 5.5 rpg and 4.7 apg.
