The Instagram handle of the "Ask Ashley Podcast" uploaded a segment from their latest episode where the show's hosts discussed Kanye West's move to stop Kim Kardasgian's marriage. Former NBA player Iman Shumpert expressed his views on a reel on Instagram.

During their conversations, hosts Ashley Weatherspoon and Ashley North revealed that rapper Kanye West did not have a cell phone and used to converse through emails. However, when the rapper heard about Kardashian's marriage plans involving former NBA player Kris Humphries, he got a cell phone and sent images of retired basketball players to the American model.

The photos featured former basketball players in jeans, and West convinced Kardashian to rethink her marriage decision. The hosts of the show agreed with West's demonstration and stated that basketball players do not age well.

Iman Shumpert explains Steph Curry's influence in changing the game

Shumpert may not have been the headliner superstar for the 2015-16 Cavs, but he was essential to the team's success. The Cavs's biggest obstacle during the 2015 and 2016 seasons was the Steph Curry-led Warriors, and Shumpert was tasked with the difficult job of guarding the baby-faced assassin.

He learned from his mistakes in the 2015 loss against the Dubs and did his part in the 2016 Finals to help his team win the title. Shumpert appeared on the Nov. 28 episode of Carmelo Anthony's "7 PM in Brooklyn" podcast" where he explained how Curry changed the game.

"The game changed when we allowed people to think you can win championship doing what Steph Curry does," Shumpert said, adding, "The problem isn't that Steph Curry won championships like that, the problem is you think you Steph Curry. You don't shoot like Steph Curry, you ain't been shooting like Steph Curry." (2:35)

Furthermore, Shumpert talked about his surprised reaction when he checked out the scouting report of the Warriors star:

"The scouting report on this man was so weak and I was like 'huh, we talking about the same guy?"

Shumpert then concluded his statement, highlighting that Curry played a significant role in influencing the changes in modern-day basketball.
