In Photos: Dwyane Wade celebrates Father's Day with pic dump of Zaya, Kaavia, Zaire, and his other kids

Three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade honors being a father by posting pictures of him and his kids on social media. Wade posted pictures on his Instagram account of him with Zaya, Kaavia, Zaire, Dahveon and Xavier. The former Miami Heat star put a short caption commemorating Father's Day on the post.

Wade has been fortunate to become a father to five children. Four of the five are his biological kids as Wade gained full custody of his nephew, Dahveon, in 2011. According to People Magazine, his nephew is close with his oldest son, Zaire.

The Heat star also included a few photos of himself with his father, Dwyane Wade Sr. Take a look at the photos below that the Hall of Fame guard posted.

A look at Dwyane Wade's five kids

Dahveon is the oldest among the five kids, although not biologically his. Little is known about the 21-year-old nephew of Wade. According to People Magazine, he played high school basketball at Sierra Canyon School.

Wade's oldest child is Zaire. He was born in 2002, during the Heat star's marriage with his first wife, Funches. The oldest of his kids is following in his dad's footsteps in becoming a professional basketball player. Recently, he's been trying different things as he joined the Cape Town Tigers in 2023 to play in the African Basketball League.

Zaire played in the G-League back in the 2021-22 season and played with the Salt Lake City Stars.

The next is Zaya, who was born in 2007 during Wade's first marriage. Like Dahveon, Wad took full custody of her and her older brother, Zaire. In 2020, she came out as transgender and the Heat legend has been in full support of her decision ever since.

In 2022, Wade filed a petition to change her name and gender. This was finally granted after a few months and was in full effect in February 2023.

Xavier is Wade's fourth child. In 2013, the Heat star and now wife, Gabrielle Union, briefly split. During that period, the former athlete fathered a child with Basketball Wives star, Aja Metoyer. When the couple got back together, they worked on the issue privately.

Kaavia is the last of Wade's kids and was born via surrogate in 2018. Union and the 13-time All-Star struggled with infertility and failed IVF treatments. The actress wrote about their struggles in her memoir, "We're Going to Need More Wine."
