In Photos: First look at Kyrie Irving's latest ANTA Kai Tribe lifestyle shoe

Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving is one win away from returning to the NBA Finals. Despite a Game 4 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on their home floor, Irving and the Mavericks are eager to close things out on Thursday on the road. In the meantime, exciting news has emerged indicating that Irving and ANTA are set to release a lifestyle shoe in the US.

The shoes, which have already released in China, where ANTA primarily operates, have been named the ANTA Kai Tribe lifestyle shoe. So far, there's no word on when the shoes will release in the United States, but Complex is reporting that they will release in the fall.

Images of two different colorways have emerged online. In both instances, the lifestyle shoe features a low-top design, while each colorway has unique and distinct features.

The colorway features a simple all-black upper with a white midsole and a white outersole and Kyrie Irving's KI logo in the heel. The second colorway features a cream-colored outersole and midsole with a purple heel marker and cream-colored accent notes throughout the shoe.

Both colorways also feature a unique stamp at the base of the tongue reading KAI in hieroglyphic-looking lettering along with metal tags with a series of hieroglyphics. Check out the first images of the shoes below:

Looking at Kyrie Irving's latest signature release with ANTA

SInce parting ways with Nike, Kyrie Irving and ANTA have continued to impress with a series of collaborations on the Mavericks star's signature sneakers. A deal was announced between the two sides in 2023, with Irving's first shoe, the ANTA Kai 1, releasing in March.

The deal also notably saw him named Chief Creative Officer, which will allow him to recruit others to release products under his ANTA line. At the time, Irving spoke about the partnership in a statement, which was relayed by CBS Sports:

"Being appointed as ANTA Basketball's Chief Creative Officer is more than just a realization of my dreams; in fact, it may be the perfect opportunity for me. An individual who always dreams big and values independent thinking, to leverage my artistic talents to build, create, and unify the culture both on and off court."

Since then, the duo have released six colorways of the ANTA Kai 1s, with each selling out online. Before the start of the playoffs, Irving also released a 'Playoffs White' colorway in April.

Now, as the team looks to continue their run to the NBA Finals, Kyrie Irving has continued to impress both on the court, and with his shoes. To kick off the WCF series against the Timberwolves, Irving donned a signature player edition of the ANTA Kai 1s that paid tribute to his Native American heritage.

With many successful releases it seems as though there's no slowing down any time soon for Kyrie Irving and ANTA.
