On Sunday, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry attended the Sneaker Con to unveil the Curry 12's new colorway. The custom sneaker was released during the Bay Area convention and is Under Armour's fifth colorway this year.

Termed "What the Bay", the shoe is a tribute to the San Francisco area, and Curry presented the shoe alongside the region's iconic rapper E40. The official Sneaker Con account shared images from the evening on Instagram, captioning the post:

The sneaker, highlighting the city's heart and soul, featured a Golden-Red color scheme. This design resembled San Francisco's most iconic landmark, the Golden Gate Bridge. Sneaker Con, celebrating its 15th Anniversary this year, ended its last convention of 2024 on a high with a release that had many fans in awe.

Steph Curry and Under Armour dropped the Curry 12s on August 14, 2024, with their first three pairs releasing in Team USA colors of White/Red and Navy/Red for the 2024 Olympics. Since then, the Curry brand has released a colorway every month, with this month's release being the most special one so far.

Stephen Curry left fuming after an adult steals his signature sneaker from a young fan

Four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry was left fuming on Saturday after an ugly interaction in the stands. Following the Warriors' 113-103 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Curry handed his game-worn shoes to a kid. However, to everyone's disapproval, an adult snatched the shoe from the kid and took it for himself.

Steph, known for his kind interactions, was not happy about the situation as he was seen screaming at the fan. The Warriors star was visibly displeased by the spectator's uncivilized act and tried confronting the fan.

"Hey! Yo! Give it to him," Curry said.

This is not the first time Curry has had a conflict with a fan over his game-worn sneakers, as a similar situation occurred in 2016. The incident was a minor blemish on an otherwise great night for the Bay Area legend, who scored 31 points and recorded 10 assists during the 10-point victory.
