In Photos: Lakers duo D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves link up with Devin Booker at Tiger Woods-designed golf course 

D'Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves of the LA Lakers linked up with two other NBA players at the Tiger Woods-designed golf course. Dylan Windler, a shooting guard on a two-way contract with the Atlanta Hawks, shared a series of pictures with the Lakers duo and Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker.

"LETS GO GOLFING⛳️," he captioned the post.

Professional golfer John Daly II shared some pics of the NBA stars while thanking D'Angelo Russell for the invite.

"Unbelievable week at Payne’s Valley. Super thankful to be invited to such a cool event. Thanks again @dloading for the invite and letting me apart of your tournament!!" Daly wrote on a separate Instagram post.

Kash Albarado, a college athlete, shared pictures of the experience, sharing a two-word message as the caption:

All these figures played at Payne's Valley, a course designed by Tiger Woods' TGR Design team in Brandon, Missouri. The course pays tribute to World Golf Hall of Famer Payne Stewart. According to Golfweek, the course has become famous for its 19th hole and can be stretched to 7,370 yards off the back.

NBA players have become fans of golfing in recent times. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are some of the current stars who can compete on the course. Legends like Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley are also known to compete on the golf course, although not against each other.

D'Angelo Russell can open the door for Lakers to land 6x NBA All-Star

While he's enjoying his time away from the court, D'Angelo Russell remains a hot topic around the NBA. The veteran guard's future has been unclear since the 2023-24 season ended. Even though he opted into his player option, he could still play for a different team next season.

According to Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report, the Lakers could send Russell to the Brooklyn Nets — where he became an All-Star in 2019 — in a potential three-team move that would include the Chicago Bulls. DeMar DeRozan could make a return to LA if his team agrees to get involved in this move.

"For the Lakers to bring on DeRozan, Los Angeles may have to work with a third team to offload some salary, such as D’Angelo Russell or Gabe Vincent. The Nets have been open to welcoming Russell back to Barclays Center since this past trade deadline," Fischer reported.

The Lakers have been criticized for their lack of moves this free agency, and a trade like this could help them compete next season.
