In Pictures: Ex-Lakers champ Dwight Howard makes heartfelt plea on daughter Jayde's birthday with sweet snaps

Former LA Lakers big man Dwight Howard uploaded a collage of pictures of him with his daughter Jayde on Sunday as she celebrated her 14th birthday. Dwight posted on Instagram to celebrate Jayde's special day and added a caption with a request:

"Everybody help me wish my daughter Jayde a Happy Birthday 🎊❤️ Can you guess where we are flying to celebrate? 👀⬇️"

To make Jayde's birthday bash even sweeter, her father will apparently take her on a trip. Dwight Howard dropped hints about their trip when he asked his followers on Instagram to guess where they were going to celebrate his daughter's special day.

Jayde is Dwight Howard's third of five children. Her mother is Hope Alexa, a fitness model.

Dwight Howard challenges Victor Wembanyama to play chess against Manny Pacquiao

Dwight Howard is one of the all-time greatest big men to ever play in the NBA. He is famous for his outstanding rim protection and ability to posterize his opponents on any given night. Outside the hardwood, he is also well-known for being one of the funniest guys in the league, even to this day.

True enough, the former LA Lakers big man is still clowning around with the current NBA stars on social media.

San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanayama recently tweeted on X a question about where he could play chess in New York City. Soon after, Wemby was spotted playing chess with bystanders at Washington Square Park.

The post went viral on social media, which apparently also caught the attention of Howard, who challenged Wembanayama to a chess match. Followed by his challenge was a dare that the Spurs big man should take on the legendary Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao.

Howard and Pacquiao had a recent interaction in the Philippines wherein the former NBA star found himself playing a game of chess with the Filipino boxer. Dwight uploaded a video of his adventure in the Philippines showcasing Manny. In the clip, Pac-Man himself was curious about Wembanyama and wanted to know how tall he was.

Victor Wembanyama hasn't responded to the tweet yet, but it would be interesting to see an interaction between him and Pac-Man.
