Zach LaVine has been a staple in Chicago Bulls trade rumors over the last two years. Last season, he played 25 games due to knee issues, which reportedly prompted the Bulls to actively explore trade talks. LaVine’s injuries and a massive $137.8 million contract for three years reportedly turned off potential suitors.
LaVine is healthy this season and playing like an All-Star. He is averaging 22.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game. The slam dunk artist is shooting 50.8% from the floor, including 44.6% clip from deep. LaVine’s resurgence might renew interest from teams with the assets and the payroll to accommodate him.

The two-time All-Star sustained his impressive form in the matchup on Monday against the San Antonio Spurs. Chicago faced a 97-82 disadvantage entering the fourth quarter as they couldn’t stop Victor Wembanyama.
Zach LaVine started the rally with back-to-back 3-pointers early in the fourth frame. He had 14 points and four assists in the last 12 minutes to drag his team to another impressive victory.
If the Chicago Bulls want to trade him, now might be the best time to engage teams in trade talks.
