In the first quarter, the Golden State Warriors and Indiana Pacers traded buckets in the first five minutes. Indiana tried taking control of the game by building a seven-point advantage. However, Golden State kept it close as the Pacers had a 31-30 lead at the end of the first 12 minutes.

Steph Curry was awfully quiet in the first quarter, taking just one shot and missing it. The Warriors were lucky that the rest of the team was hot, including Buddy Hield and Trayce Jackson-Davis.

Golden State gained some momentum to start the second period, taking the lead and looking like they were about to blow the game wide open. However, the Pacers quickly erased the nine-point deficit and locked down defensively.

Indiana turned the game around midway through the quarter to take a 62-54 advantage at halftime. Four Pacers players were in double figures, while Curry only had two points for the Warriors.

The third quarter was a cat-and-mouse game as the Golden State Warriors tried to catch the Indiana Pacers. The Warriors were not letting the Pacers pull away though Indiana made it tough and built a 12-point advantage at the 2:10 mark.

Golden State regained their composure to end the third period down 89-85. The final quarter became a back-and-forth affair with the two teams exchanging leads at almost every possession until the final three minutes.

Indiana closed the game led by Andrew Nembhard and Myles Turner, while Steph Curry couldn't find the basket late. The Pacers earned a 111-105 win to extend their streak to five games, while the Warriors head into Christmas on a sour note.

The Pacers will spend their Christmas at home before welcoming the OKC Thunder on Dec. 26. The Warriors, on the other hand, will face the LA Lakers on Dec. 25 in a Christmas showdown between Steph Curry and LeBron James.
