On Dec. 15, Dennis Schroder joined the Golden State Warriors via trade following a short stint with the Brooklyn Nets. While Schroder has started his adjustment process to his new team, his former NYC residence (which he rented from Kevin Durant) is still wowing netizens.
Online users got to see a glimpse of Schroder's $15 million Brooklyn house via a house tour uploaded by his wife Ellen on her YouTube channel.
Ellen began the tour with the living room and dining area, both of which had a simple white, gray and black motif. The spacious living room included a fancy, elongated lamp, an enormous couch and a sizable basketball hoop.

"They shouldn't be missing here [in this hoop]," said Ellen in reference to her children. "They play basketball all day, every day." [Timestamp - 1:08]
A poker table and a Christmas tree were also seen in this area, as well as magnetic plates that the Schroder children put together in order to form tunnel houses or labyrinths for playtime.
Going upstairs, Ellen showed some bedrooms, along with the terrace and kids' playroom. As for the huge footwear collection of her husband, she said:
"Here, we have his shoes. I don't know where to put his shoes. What was done here should actually only be temporary." [Timestamp - 5:16].
In the video, Ellen also mentions that the house was once "owned and rented" by Kevin Durant when he played for the Brooklyn Nets.
Dennis Schroder's son approves of his trade to Golden State
Though the Brooklyn house rented from Durant is a tough one to leave behind, Dennis Schroder can at least be assured that his five-year-old son Dennis Jr. is perfectly fine with their move to the Bay Area.
"The funniest thing though was, when we got traded, I was kind of shocked. My wife told him we got traded," Schroder said. "He asked, 'Where are we going?' We said Golden State. He was like, 'We lucky'. It's a good team at least."
Schroder, however, has yet to taste victory as a Warrior. In his first game with the team, the Indiana Pacers secured a 111-105 victory at Chase Center. Then, on Christmas Day, the Warriors' fourth-quarter comeback against the Los Angeles Lakers fell short in a 115-113 loss.
In those two games, Schroder averaged 10.0 points and 4.0 assists. As he gets more acclimated to his new team, his numbers can potentially rise, perhaps leading to a fresh win for the Dubs.
