Miami Heat star Andrew Wiggins is available to play in his team’s upcoming matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, where the Heat will return to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse for Game 2 of their playoff series against the Cavs. Cleveland dominated Miami 121-100 in Game 1 to take a 1-0 lead.

Wiggins recorded 14 points, six rebounds, and two assists in the loss. Miami relied on Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro, who combined to score 45 points. But, there was no stopping Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland and Ty Jerome, who combined to score 85 points.

Miami will need Wiggins to step up in a big way if they hope to upset the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 30-year-old is yet to find his rhythm with the team since being traded there in February. He has made 17 appearances, recording 19.0 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Wiggins is available for Wednesday’s game, per the NBA's latest injury report, but the Heat still needs to adjust for some absentees. Kevin Love is listed as out for personal reasons, while Terry Rozier will also be sidelined with a left ankle sprain. Meanwhile, the Cavaliers will be at full strength with no players on their injury report for Wednesday.

Andrew Wiggins’ stats vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

Andrew Wiggins has been solid against the Cleveland Cavaliers throughout his career, recording 19.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg, and 2.0 apg over 20 appearances. He may need to go a step beyond that if he wishes to upset the Cavs with Miami.

However, Wiggins has averaged 16.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg and 1.9 apg through 41 career playoff games. Though it's unlikely he'll be able to dominate against Cleveland’s well-organized defense.

Game 2 between the Heat and Cavs is scheduled to tip off from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on NBA TV, FDSOH and FDSSUN. Fans can also live stream the game via the NBA League Pass and FuboTV.

It’ll be interesting to see what Andrew Wiggins and Co. have in store for the Cavaliers on Wednesday. If they go 2-0 behind, the series could start to slip away from their hands.
